Why do I have to get a certification in sport diving?

First and foremost, how much do you value your life?  I think your life is worth the few hours required to get certified.  It is the only way to be sure you know all that there is to know for a safe dive.  

Most dive shops will not rent equipement or air without a certification card.

You will learn what to do and what not to do and why.

Most importantly you will learn that there are several ways to get out of any bad situation underwater...from what I have learned and read over the years, most diving deaths start out as a very minor problem, but the diver gets frantic, panics and then one problem leads to another and another until there is no way to recover.  Taking a diving class and getting certified will teach you how to recover from any problem..as a result you will have more confidence underwater which will help you remain calm in any situation....and you will be able to relax and enjoy your dives.

certification is required because scuba diving is some time little dangerous.

so if you not not experienced then it is dangerous for you. so the certification in sport diving is necessary.
